CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA is the 26th largest DMA in the U.S. Due in part to its size and in part to its location, Charlotte serves as a media hub and is home to cable TV’s Speed Channel, ESPNU, and the Inspiration Network. Radio proliferates in Charlotte with talk, sports, news, rock, urban, country, religious, Hispanic, Jazz, Top 40, Childrens and Public Radio all thrive. Charlotte is also known as the City of Churches and was the birthplace of Billy Graham. It’s also the central hub of NASCAR.
