Job Assistance / Stay Connected Program


The Stay Connected program is designed for graduates of our Film programs in directing, producing, screenwriting, editing, or general production.


While many of our students find paid employment in the film industry before graduation, there are of course, some that don't. This program is designed for those that need additional assistance in finding job opportunities.


While most schools give lip service to job placement, we actually have a 20 lesson course that is offered to you at no additional charge once you graduate. Below is an outline of the 20 lessons you will be offered through your Job Placement Counselor. Our Stay Connected Program offers you an additional year of educational services.

    • Helping to articulate your vision and your goals with ourtrained assistance.
  2. Living Vision
    • Envisioning what you wish to accomplish and how to achieve it.
  3. Cover Letters That Make the Cut
    • Your next step with professional documentation. Learn how to create a concise cover letter that will help you stand out.
  4. Write a Treatment #1
    • You can’t work in film without having a story to tell. While we’re not all writers, with our help you can craft your own story.
  5. Resumes that Rock
    • What’s the most effective way to make an entertainment based resume? Our program has the secrets to show your experience in a creative way.
  6. Business Cards that Make an Impression
    • You may have seen plenty of business cards in your day, but it’s not easy to create a design and format that speaks of your creative abilities.
  7. The Art of Writing the Letter
    • Some of the best ways to reach out to professionals is the old fashion way. We help students to articulate themselves to industry pros before sending them to major producers for them. (see lesson 20)
  8. Write a Treatment #2
    • With our help, you will find the confidence necessary to find a story you want to shoot and help make it a reality.
  9. Letters of Recommendation, How to Get Them and Use Them
    • Our program has given you access to industry professionals. Their recommendations will go a long way when it comes to making impressions with other studios across the country.
  10. Thank You Letters That Can Lead to Repeat Business
    • It’s important to leave a lasting impression after your upcoming interviews. We show you the proper way to create thank you letters that entice studios to bring you back for more.
  11. Practice Phone Interview - No Sweat Method to Handling the Pressure
    • Before setting you up with actual studios, practice makes perfect. So let us help you home your skills with a mock interview.
  12. Keeping your Options Open - Research other Directors and Producers
    • You’ve pumped their work directly into your headphones, now learn all you can about engineers and producers whose work speaks to you.
  13. Write a Treatment #3
    • Time again to show your storytelling. The more you have to offer the more likely a studio or independent producer will work with you.
  14. Working your Demo Packet for Perfection
    • Presentation goes a long way in the entertainment arts. We help you present your professional documentation in a creative and effective way.
  15. Assembling your Website - Optimize your Online Presence
    • There is no better way to present your abilities and body of work than on the web. With your website you can reach a wide variety of people who can better your future.
  16. Researching Studios That Suit your Work
    • Before calling or visiting studios, you must learn all you can about them and where you fit in.
  17. Relocation Research - Finding the Market for You
    • The best market for you may not be your hometown or where you live now. With our help you can find the best possible places for your future to take shape.
  18. Call a Studio
    • With our guidance and connections students are given studios to call and network with to strengthen connections and look for work.
  19. Visit a Studio
    • We’ve given you the tools to make the most of your skills. Now put them to the test with a number of studios we give you to pursue.
  20. Introduction Letter to Industry Professional
    • If you’re ready to make this next step, we will take your letters of introduction to actual industry professionals, not mentors, to show them how much of an asset you can be to them.

All lessons are supplemented with additional reading on life coaching, motivation and completing your goals. These selections are Best Selling books and are designed to prepare our students for what lies ahead.
