With a combined population of over 400,000, the cities of Fayetteville, Springdale and Rogers, Arkansas (along with other nearby towns) have made northwest Arkansas one of the nation's fastest-growing metro areas in recent years. Major corporations such as Wal-Mart and Tyson are headquartered in this area, among many other corporate entities. A short drive down the highway brings you to Ft. Smith, the second largest individual city in Arkansas. A number of film and television production companies call this area home, and the metro's close proximity to the scenic Ozark Mountains make this vibrant area very favorable to location filmmaking. If you are considering a career in filmmaking as a film director, film producer, film editor, or cameraman, the Ft.
