Nor does it speak to the thriving independent film community, with numerous film festivals throughout the state, in Denver, Colorado Springs, Boulder, Aspen, Vail, Durango and other places. Our film training program looks different than any you’ve ever looked at, because unlike the others, we don’t allow you to spend one day in a college or trade school classroom. Instead, from the first day to the last, you are working on-the-job as an extern, with private tutoring from a qualified mentor who has years of experience working in film. You’ll work through a structured curriculum, and you’ll have homework—but even more importantly, you’ll gain valuable experience working on real film projects. And if your goal is to become a professional film director, our mentors will guide you step by step through the process of developing a film idea, followed by a trip to Hollywood to pitch it to actual film executives.
How much do you think a training program like this should cost? Well, that’s the best part: we keep our costs remarkably low in order to keep you out of student debt. Our tuition rates are roughly 75% lower than most film schools that don’t even offer you a connection to the film industry—and for that low tuition, we’re training you from INSIDE the industry itself!
