“I had my first session last week Friday. It was great! My mentor is very knowledgeable and taught me so much within one day. He makes the environment very relaxed and comfortable. During our first session we went over the entire production and development of a movie. He taught me about a treatment and synopsis for a screenplay. Also, we went over the timeline and structure of how a movie is made, starting with the treatment. He showed me some of the programs he uses for editing and writing and showed me an example. I got to get a feel of Final Draft Pro. and Final Cut. Finally, we went over a film they are making. I got to see some of the script and what the directors treatment looks like.”
