Your Twin Falls Film School Alternative

We’re bringing the magic of moviemaking to Magic Valley! We’re Twin Falls Film Connection and our partners at several Twin Falls production companies are ready to show you the ropes in this exciting and growing area.

You can choose our 6-month behind the scenes program which pairs you up with working film professionals who will mentor you in their studios or production houses. Develop your craft while, more importantly, learning what it’s like to work in a professional environment.

Our comprehensive 8-month director track is for filmmakers who want to know what it’s like to see a project from inception to greenlight. You’ll write, direct, and edit your project with mentors who will help you every step of the way. You’ll learn the pitch process and how to make your project marketable. And then as the final piece of the puzzle, you’re getting an actual pitch meeting with an industry executive in L.A. who will let you know the strength and potential of your project. No other program anywhere offers you this level of professional guidance or work experience.

Twin Falls, Idaho is situated in the Magic Valley area of southern Idaho near the border with Nevada. Its proximity to gorgeous mountains, scenic rivers and beautiful canyons make this an excellent spot for location filmmaking. Additionally, Twin Falls is home to several film and video production companies, so if you are considering a career in filmmaking as a film director, film producerfilm editor, or cameraman, learning in a Twin Falls film production company is a surprising alternative to relocation for those who would rather not move to New York or Los Angeles.

The movie Breakfast of Champions was filmed in Twin Falls; other well-known movies that have been filmed in Idaho include Napoleon Dynamite, Bus Stop, Smoke Signals and Dante's Peak, to name a few. Additionally, Idaho is no stranger to television production; TV series such as Rescue 911 and Amazing Grace have been shot here. Idaho is also home to several annual film festivals.

The combination of scenic diversity with the presence of several film production companies make Twin Falls a film-friendly locale for both film students and filmmaking professionals.
