It is convenient to plenty of natural scenery, including rivers, forests, and mountains, and more urban areas such as Charleston are within driving distance–making Parkersburg a good site for finding filming locations. The area is home to several production companies, and also benefits from the state’s generous incentives which lure filmmakers to West Virginia.
