The Film Connection Relocates to World Famous Los Angeles Center in the Film Capital of the World
LOS ANGELES, CA–(December 1, 2011)–The Film Connection, a division of the Mentor Apprentice School of the Arts (MASA), providing certificate programs in all aspects of filmmaking, announced the company has moved its corporate headquarters from its prior Hollywood and Vine location to the world famous Los Angeles Center Studios at 1201 West 5th Street, Suite M130, Los Angeles, CA 90017. The corporate offices are open Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM PST.
“We outgrew our location at Hollywood and Vine, and when space opened up in the Los Angeles Center Studios we jumped at the opportunity,” said the Film Connection’s Chief Operations Officer Brian Kraft. “We stress the importance of connections throughout our curriculum, and what better place to nurture new and important film industry connections than in the Los Angeles Center Studios where so many of the top movies and television shows are made.”
The Film Connection’s new corporate offices in Los Angeles at the Los Angeles Center Studios houses six state-of-the-art sound stages on-site used by many well-known industry leading productions including: Anchorman, Constantine, Coyote Ugly, ER, Fear Factor, Janet Jackson, Mad Men, Mission: Impossible 2, Panic Room, Planet of the Apes, The Ring 2, Terminator 3, West Wing, and many more.
Film Connection is an immersive private film school offering structured course curriculums in directing, producing, editing, screenwriting and more. The company’s film courses offer real world settings with one on one instruction from a professional filmmaker including: Program 1 – Learn Where You Live, available in a film production company in your city or town. Students study directing, producing, editing, screenwriting, camera, and general film production from a filmmaking professional .Program 2: Learn in Los Angeles, CA, an intense, six month apprenticeship (externship) program only available in Los Angeles, CA, for those students looking to make it as a major film director or producer.
