Production School in Carrollton, Texas

We took that old stale classroom concept, rebuilt and upgraded it by putting your classroom in a professional recording studio. Then we emptied out all the other students and left only YOU and YOUR TEACHER (yay for one-on-one learning!) who happens to be a pro film producer (with killer credits) to train you privately (at your pace, full time, part time, nights or weekends available).

Who will be the next rock, country, hip-hop or EDM icon to come out of Carrollton, Texas? Home to a diverse bunch of filmians and performers including Demi Lovato, Jessica Simpson, Ashlee Simpson, Ryan Cabrera, Rex Brown (of Pantera), and Lil Twist to name just a few, Carrollton is a great place to be to launch a career in film, as an artist, film producer, in-studio film engineer, live film engineer and more.

Located about 20 miles north of Dallas, Carrollton has been named the 19th best place to live in the U.S. by Money Magazine in 2006, the 15th best small city by the same magazine in 2008, and one of the top 100 places to live by Relocate America.

About This Mentor

You don’t have to go into extreme debt to go to Film Production and Audio Engineering School

We can train you in a real recording studio for far less. Play it smart–get on the inside track, and get connected as you get educated. Our film recording school is a highly effective and affordable way to start your film engineering career.

Several corporations agree. Carrollton has agricultural and industrial roots but is now home to several corporate headquarters. Heelys, Fastsigns, and Motel 6 all make their home here. And the town’s largest employer is Halliburton, an international oilfield services and equipment corporation with around 1,000 employees at the regional office.

One of the largest events of the year harkens back to Carrollton’s beginnings. Festival at the Switchyard is a way for the city to tip its cap to the railroad that brought real growth to the town nearly 150 years ago. The Toadies, Stone Temple Pilots, and Barenaked Ladies are just a few of the headliners of the yearly festival.
