Production School in Hollywood, California

We took that old stale classroom concept, rebuilt and upgraded it by putting your classroom in a professional recording studio. Then we emptied out all the other students and left only YOU and YOUR TEACHER (yay for one-on-one learning!) who happens to be a pro film producer (with killer credits) to train you privately (at your pace, full time, part time, nights or weekends available).

Hollywood. For many, it conjures up the golden age of film, Paramount Studios, the Walk of Fame, the Hollywood sign. But Hollywood is also home to some of the worlds most influential bands and artists. From Snoop Dogg to The Doors, Ice Cube to Jane’s Addiction, The Black Eyed Peas to Maroon 5, No Doubt to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Hollywood is fertile ground for film makers who are fierce and unapologetically unique.

Today, Hollywood is seeing a resurgence in the arts as creatives from all over the nation move to the mecca and make it their home. Filmians, composers, producers, film engineers, as well as actors and writers, are flocking to the iconic Hollywood neighborhood once more. As a result, independent film making and filmmaking are on the rise and the local culture is booming with expression. It’s unlike anything you’ll find anywhere else.

The Hollywood area of Los Angeles, totaling just 30.7 square miles, is an icon unto itself. For nearly a century, Hollywood has been the epicenter of the movie-making industry. Paramount, RKO, Warner Bros. and Columbia Pictures were among the first studios to make Hollywood their home. By the 1920s, Hollywood was the fifth-largest industry in the U.S. By the ’30s, Hollywood was cranking out 600 films a year. It didn’t take long for other entertainment industries to take notice. Television studios and film companies followed suit. Located on Vine, just north of Hollywood Blvd, The Capitol Records building is another familiar sight of the Hollywood skyline.

About This Mentor

You don’t have to go into extreme debt to go to Film Production and Audio Engineering School

We can train you in a real recording studio for far less. Play it smart–get on the inside track, and get connected as you get educated. Our film recording school is a highly effective and affordable way to start your film engineering career.

Christina Applegate, Liza Minnelli, Alison Brie, and Vince Neil were all born in Hollywood, while the likes of Brandy, Cher, and Sarah Jessica Parker attended Hollywood High School. Sure, you’ll find bankers, lawyers, and doctors living in Hollywood too, but we doubt you’ll see them in the Hollywood Wax Museum.

That’s where Film Connection might be able to help. By placing you in a working recording studio with an experienced mentor, you could find yourself behind the glass when some of the biggest names in film come in to record. Our mentors have worked with Justin Timberlake, Adele, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Florence + The Machine, Aminé, Miley Cyrus, Solange, U2, 50Cent, Matchbox 20, Dr Dre, The Killers, Foo Fighters, Aerosmith,Trey Songz, and a great many more famous artists from every genre you can think of.
