Not far from the city towers the majestic Mt. San Jacinto, rising over 10,000 feet above the desert. With such a diversity in the beautiful scenery for film locations, and with L.A. a short drive away, Palm Springs can be an excellent small-town alternative for people who are considering a career in filmmaking as a film director, film producer, film editor, or cameraman.
