This isn’t a boring Milwaukee film school classroom. This isn’t an overcrowded college laboratory. This is life. Real Life. YOUR LIFE.

Breaking into any industry is hard. Breaking into the film industry? That’s almost impossible. The industry is so insular. You have to make connections. You have to be on point twenty-four seven. It’s almost luck. You have to be in the right place at the right time. It’s basically a game of Russian roulette. That is unless you enroll in the Milwaukee Film Connection Film School program. We help you make the movies you want to make. We understand how hard it can be to convince people that you’re on the level and that your idea is amazing. Well, guess what? What if we told you that you could have industry veterans standing behind you and telling everyone that you’re on the level. That’d probably change things, wouldn’t it?

Don’t Spend More on your Film Education if You Don’t Have to

Traditional film schools don’t help you get work in the industry. They just give you a diploma. What’s more important? A diploma or a job? Yeah, that’s what I thought. And the best part? At the end of our program, you’ll be set up with a meeting with a real studio executive who will hear your pitch and decide if he wants to greenlight your movie. Sounds incredible, right? That’s because it is. Professionals in the film business—including famous producers, screenwriters and directors—endorse Film Connection’s programs for one simple reason: they know our real-world method works.

Get Real World Film Production Experience in Milwaukee

Milwaukee has significant connections to the film industry, having been home to a long list of actors (including Gene Wilder and Spencer Tracy), as well as filmmakers Will Zens, Jim Abrahams, and David and Jerry Zucker. Talk show host-turned-media mogul Oprah Winfrey also spent some of her childhood here.

Besides being home to numerous production companies, Milwaukee is regularly the site for location shoots for movies, TV shows, documentaries and specials. Some of the movies that have been filmed in the area include Public Enemies, The Blues Brothers, Dahmer, Major League and Transformers: The Dark Side of the Moon, to name a few. Among the TV shows or series that have done filming in Milwaukee are WWF Raw, and of course the classic sitcom Laverne & Shirley, whose main characters worked in one of Milwaukee’s breweries.
